We returned home to Iowa to high temps and high humidity, but also to a pleasant surprise in our garden….
We had six red juicy strawberries just waiting to be picked and several more that are on the verge of being ready. If you haven’t ever grown your own strawberries, had homegrown strawberries from someone else’s yard, or bought farmer’s market strawberries then you don’t really know what a strawberry is supposed to taste like!
AMAZING!!!!
There are a lot more berries out there, so now it is just a matter of being patient…
