Catch Up!

We haven’t taken too many pictures in the last two weeks at least in part because Nate was out of town – he was attending a conference in San Francisco – and in part because the camera seems to be less than handy every time there is something picture worthy happening. 

In the last two weeks we went to the Dr. for Kaitlyn’s 6mo. check up, which turned out to be more like 7 with the way things worked out.  She is now over 18lbs. and 27 inches!  Can’t believe that she is double what she weighed when she was born!   

Kaitlyn has also been trying very hard to blow raspberries which is pretty funny since it sort of looks like she is trying to whistle.  She’s also started playing peek on her own – she covers her head instead of Mommy or Daddy doing it.  She sat in a restaurant high chair and in the shopping cart at the grocery store instead of in her car seat!  She mastered how to drink from a Sippy cup and will grab the cup from her tray by herself.  Kaitlyn has also figured out that she can watch things hit the floor if she tosses them – so much fun!   

Nate and I both had DDS appointments last week so Kaitlyn went with us and got her first toothbrush!  The hygienist tried to hand it to her, but Kaitlyn wouldn’t take it from anyone but Daddy and then it was so much fun to munch on!  Since then we have been “brushing her teeth” (gums) every night before bed. I’ll have to get Nate to take a picture or video because it is pretty funny.
