Kaitlyn only has 6 grandmas (including great grandmas). So, she is at a real disadvantage when it comes to holidays and birthdays…the presents start arriving and it is up to Kaitlyn to open them all. I’m sure you can imagine how this is a huge problem. This year most of the presents are living in an undisclosed location until the big day arrives since patience is not really a 2 year old trait. (Though Kaitlyn does exceptionally well usually) But, there is always an exception. Kaitlyn’s Great Grandma sent presents with the instructions that they were to be opened early. Nate and I (being the parents) decided that opening presents early was a bad precedence to set so we haven’t given Kaitlyn the option to open them…but saying “No” to a Great Grandma (even one that is over 1,000 miles away) is a hard thing to do. Especially when she calls and tells you that she sent presents that she expects to be opened – NOW!
What can you do????
When asked if she wanted to open presents, Kaitlyn happily hopped out of the bath and did a quick change to jammies…
Thank you Grandma Tubby!!!!!
Love,
Kaitlyn

What lovely pics! Kaitlyn sure seems very happy with the gifts from Great Grandma Tubby. Maybe "Greats" should not have to wait.
