Princess Rockets

Kaitlyn has the whole princess thing figured out despite my efforts to promote a princess free environment…well, it isn’t really princesses I have issues with it is using small children as advertising…you know all the character clothing – shoes, socks, underwear, shirts, pants, hats, bows, glasses…pretty much if you can put it on your body there is someone out there putting a princess on it.
Anyway, Kaitlyn is also really into science, building things, and getting dirty so I’ve come to terms with the fancy dresses etc.
For her birthday Kaitlyn got an awesome rocket kit – and while there are some skeptics out there- yes, this really was for Kaitlyn.  She had seen a model rocket in Hobby Lobby and decided it would be really cool to make….but she totally did it her way! Pink, blue, white, magenta and stickered up the ying-yang!

We waited for a calm evening and then it was time to launch!
